2020 Dan Breen Memorial: Report and Photos

By all accounts the 2020 Dan Breen Memorial was a major success—even if safety precautions ruled out some favorite features such as the shotgun start and the post-outing meal and awards. Nonetheless, we maxed out on participation with nearly 100 golfers, and welcomed the support of 26 hole sponsors, including eight new friends of the South Shore Rugby Club. Altogether, it was one of our most successful fundraisers ever—which is especially important in a year that allows few opportunities to support the club’s operations.

More importantly, this year’s outing once again honored the memory of our dearly departed friend and teammate, Dan Breen, whose fierce style of play on the pitch and kindhearted approach to life will be forever missed and never forgotten by South Shore Rugby.
